Introducing the Enhanced DB Sourcing Admin Interface: Streamlined & Modernized Experience  

We’re excited to unveil the latest updates to the DB Sourcing Admin interface, designed to offer a more intuitive and efficient experience for our users. This upgrade brings a host of new features and improvements that will empower you to manage your sourcing activities with greater ease and precision.  

Modernized User Experience
The interface has been revamped to provide a modernized user experience, ensuring consistency across the entire suite of DemandBridge SaaS products. This new look and feel will make it easier for you to navigate and utilize the platform, whether you’re a long-time user or new to the system.  

Enhanced Data Visibility
Within this new centralized admin interface, you can now more easily monitor the flow of data replication from your DemandBridge Back-Office system to DB Sourcing as records are created and updated.  

New Product Category Management
We’ve introduced the option to maintain new product categories specifically for use when creating Requests for Quotations (RFQs). This feature allows for greater flexibility and organization, ensuring your RFQs are tailored to your exact needs.  

Updated Tools for User, Group, and Location Management
Managing your team and resources is now more efficient with updated tools for maintaining users, groups, and locations. These enhancements streamline the process, making it easier to keep your organizational structure up-to-date and aligned with your operational goals.  

Streamlined Approval Queue and Rule Editing
Creating and managing approval rules has never been easier. The new interface simplifies the process of approving and rejecting jobs in the Approval Queue, as well as creating and editing rules, allowing you to establish best practices that help control and direct your spending. New conditions can now be added to rules, including those related to a target margin threshold and specific DB/s users, giving you more control over your financial decisions.  

This update to the DB Sourcing Admin interface reflects our ongoing commitment to providing you with the tools you need to manage your sourcing operations effectively. We believe these enhancements will greatly improve your experience, making it easier to achieve your business objectives.  



Introducing EQ Commerce Responsive: Available Now Upon Request!  
We are thrilled to announce the launch of EQ Commerce Responsive, a significant upgrade to our EQ/c sites. This new platform ensures that your pages dynamically adjust to fit perfectly on screens of all sizes, providing your customers with a seamless shopping experience, no matter the device they use.   This first iteration of the Mobile Responsive Interface has been carefully crafted with the critical user path and the most commonly used features in mind. We’ve prioritized the key areas that matter most to your customers, ensuring a smooth and intuitive interaction at every step.  

Key features of this initial release include:
Login: A streamlined and secure login process optimized for all devices.
Home Page: A responsive home page that adapts to various screen sizes, delivering a consistent and engaging experience.
Catalog Access: Easy and intuitive navigation through your product catalog, no matter the device.
Search: Enhanced search functionality that delivers fast and relevant results.
Item Detail: Clear and detailed product information designed to display beautifully on any screen.
Customization of Q-Design Items: A user-friendly interface for customizing items, ensuring customers can personalize their selections effortlessly.
Shopping Cart: A responsive shopping cart that makes managing purchases straightforward and accessible.
Checkout: A simplified checkout process that minimizes friction and maximizes conversions.
Order Confirmation: Instant and clear order confirmations that leave no room for uncertainty.
Order History: Easy access to past orders, enabling customers to review their purchase history with ease.  
As this is just the beginning, we are committed to continuously enhancing and expanding the functionality of EQ Commerce Responsive based on your feedback and the growing adoption of the platform.

Introducing Enhanced Freight Transparency in DB Commerce: Know Your Shipping Costs Upfront   We are thrilled to announce a significant upgrade to our DB Commerce platform, aimed at enhancing the checkout experience by providing transparent and accurate freight costs alongside carrier options. This new feature allows customers to view shipping prices directly during the checkout process, ensuring they have all the information needed to make informed decisions.  

Key Features:
• Freight Cost Visibility: Customers will now see the freight costs associated with each available carrier option during checkout, offering a clear view of their shipping expenses.
• Enhanced Transparency: By presenting freight costs upfront, we eliminate unexpected charges and provide a seamless shopping experience.  

Impact:
• For Customers: This enhancement empowers customers with upfront knowledge of shipping costs, allowing them to choose the best option for their needs and avoid surprises at checkout.
• For Businesses: Improved transparency leads to higher customer satisfaction and fewer post-purchase inquiries related to shipping costs.  

How It Works: During the checkout process, once customers select their shipping address, they will proceed to Step 2, where they can choose their preferred shipping method. The associated freight charges for each carrier option will be clearly displayed. Customers can then continue to Step 3: Payment and Step 4: Review, with a full understanding of their total order cost before finalizing the purchase.  

This feature is available exclusively on the Responsive Interface and can be enabled on a per-company basis through the settings: Checkout > Freight > Show all freight rates at checkout.  



Introducing the DemandBridge Aha! Ideas Portal

This will be your means to submit your feature enhancement requests and share them with your associates or fellow customers for voting. View your ideas, and browse those submitted by others. Add your comments for review by your DemandBridge product team. This will help us to continue to build features that you want and need. We look forward to this increased level of interaction with you!  

We will continue to use DB Service Desk for all of your support needs and related communication. The Ideas Portal will complement that with increased visibility into what we are planning. This will give you access to the improvements that we have in progress, or in research and development for coming soon. The Aha!
